We’ve all seen them on the TV and in the movies – whether it is Will Arnett’s G.O.B in Arrested Development or Paul Blart Mall Cop – but why not experience the crazy fun of riding a Segway for yourself up at Action Glen?
Segways are one of our most popular activities and it’s easy to see why – what could be better than zooming around our off-road track on one of our speedy segways that are kitted out with chunky off-road tyres so that you can fly over some pretty serious terrain.
The clever combination of computers, motors, gyroscopes and fluid-based levelling sensors in the Segway’s base means that all you have to do to start the fun is shift your weight forward to accelerate and backwards to slow down or even go into reverse. Turning couldn’t be simpler either – you just push down on either the right or left handlebar and the Segway does the rest, constantly adjusting speed and direction in response to your shifting body weight.
You’ll find it so easy to master that you’ll never want to get off!
During the Segway Trekking experience one of our qualified instructors will guide you around the beautiful Crieff Hydro estate for around an hour. And did we mention that at Action Glen we have Scotland’s biggest fleet of Segways? So, feel free to bring along some friends to join in the adventure!
Segways are even great fun for all the family, although we do insist that children are aged 10 years or older – it’s safety first at Action Glen.
Check out the video below for a little taste of what’s in-store:
You must wear flat shoes and weather appropriate clothing is always good too – our Segways are out and about come rain or shine!
Check out the Action Glen website or call 01764 651 671 to book.
